Hi Linda!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. Nice to meet you! I came to Brazil pretty much in the same way - just substitute New York for London in the story! My husband lived there for 17 years, I for 14 years. We met through friends got married and a few years later grew tired of always scraping by, of never getting ahead, of the middle class poverty we seemed to be stuck in. So we looked at each other and said, let's go to Brazil! Took a year to plan it because we took advantage of the law that lets returning Brazilians come in with personal and business items. The container we shipped was a huge ordeal, but worth it. And now here we are!
I've visited Parána - only Curitiba though. I loved it. What a wonderful city. Keep blogging - when you're not too busy designing -- it's always great to read other people's experiences.
beijos,

Life doesn't happen as we plan it usually :) I'm so thankful for that. Who knows, you might still come to Brazil and when you do you will be more than welcome to visit :)

I got tired of Canada, had some issues there with some people and just decided to leave for a while. I figured if I found a place I liked, maybe I`d settle there someday. It just happened a lot faster than I expected! :)

Funny, I was actually on my way to Brazil when I met Irving in Guatemala . . . maybe I`ll have to finish my trip and visit you someday!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
